At Aigle, take the AOMC (www.tpc.ch<\/a>) towards Champ\u00e9ry. Get off at the terminus, last stop is in Champ\u00e9ry.
Le Petit Baroudeur is on the ground floor of the building on the right, when you get off the train, under the Restaurant le Gueullhi.<\/p>\n

By car<\/strong>
Reach the A1 motorway, in the direction of Martigny-Grand St Bernard or Montreux-Vevey-Lausanne.
Take exit 18-St Triphon-Pas de Morgins-Monthey Nord, follow right, direction Pas-de-Morgins, Monthey. Follow the Tunnel de Collombey -> Rte de Morgins -> Rte de Troistorrents -> Rte de la Vall\u00e9e to Champ\u00e9ry.
In Champ\u00e9ry, follow the direction of the cable car, the Petit Baroudeur Backpacker is located on the left hand side of the road, just 200 meters from the Palladium, in front of the Holiday Sport store and beside the COOP supermarket.<\/p>\n

Arrival day is flexible as it\u2019s dedicated to welcoming you, helping you settle in, getting your rental gear and sharing the first half board dinner together.

Don\u2019t forget to specify that you are taking part in the snowboard camp to benefit from a special discount on the accommodation. Everything else such as Lift pass, Snow gear… will be at your own charge and arrangement.<\/p>\n

Dorm and twin rooms are mixed unless specified otherwise.<\/p>\n

Private Rooms : due to limited number of spots and rooms available in the camp , we don\u2019t normally offer a private room option but it may be possible upon request. It costs 50% more of the total package price.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Eat in restaurants or snacks in Champ\u00e9ry (Les Jonquilles<\/a>, le Nord<\/a>, Alta<\/a>, At\u2019Home<\/a>, you have a discount at Joe Burgers<\/a>, le Palladium<\/a>)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Cook your own meal at the Backpacker Le Petit Baroudeur, there is a kitchen and a supermarket Coop<\/a> next door.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Make your sandwhich<\/p>\n

Therefore, you can choose where and what to eat depending on what you\u2019d like to do.<\/p>\n

You will be staying at Le Petit Baroudeur Backpacker Hostel, hosted by Catherine\u2014 a local from the village who knows Champ\u00e9ry like the back of her hand.
The lodge is ideally located next to the train station and the main gondola, so you can hit the slopes in no time. It’s also a short walk from the village center, giving you easy access to shops, caf\u00e9s, and everything else you might want to explore.<\/p>\n

Le Petit Baroudeur includes:<\/p>\n

5.1 Cancelation by the Participant<\/p>\n

\u2022 The 50% deposit is non-refundable.<\/p>\n

\u2022 If you cancel more than 30 days before the start of the camp, the remaining 50% will not be due.<\/p>\n

\u2022 If you cancel 30 days or less before the start of the camp, the full amount of the camp is due. No refund will be granted, for any reason (including force majeure). We strongly advise participants to purchase travel cancellation insurance to protect against the risk of being unable to attend the camp.<\/p>\n

However, your place is transferrable so you can find someone to take your place and you let us know by contacting us by email evoq.experience@gmail.com.<\/p>\n

5.2 Cancelation by the Organizer<\/p>\n

In the event that the retreat is canceled by the organizers due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be eligible for a full refund.<\/p>\n

5.3 Interruption of the Trip<\/p>\n

In the event of early departure, no refund will be issued for any reason (including justified medical reasons). We strongly recommend that participants purchase cancelation and trip interruption insurance to cover the risks associated with an early departure, for any reason.<\/p>\n

5.4 Weather Conditions and Activity Cancelations<\/p>\n

Winter sports activities, including snowboarding, are subject to the inherent risks of variable weather and snow conditions, which may include, but are not limited to, wind, rain, insufficient snowfall, or any other conditions that make the planned activities impossible or unsafe. These risks are natural and predictable in a mountain environment.<\/p>\n

If certain days or activities need to be canceled during the camp due to unfavorable or extraordinary weather conditions, no refunds, compensation, or indemnification will be granted.<\/p>\n

The organizer commits to acting in good faith and will make reasonable efforts, where possible, to propose adjustments to the program or alternative activities. However, these alternatives, if provided, are not guaranteed to be equivalent in value or experience.<\/p>\n

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, participants acknowledge that such circumstances fall outside the organizer\u2019s responsibility and accept not to make any claims or take legal action on these grounds. Participants are also strongly encouraged to purchase specific insurance to cover such eventualities.<\/p>\n

The minimum number of participants required for the camp to take place is 14 people. If this number is not reached 30 days before the start date, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the camp. In this case, participants will be informed of the cancelation and will receive a full refund of the amounts already paid, without penalties. No other compensation may be claimed by participants in case of cancellation due to insufficient participants.<\/p>\n

If you don’t have your own gear, we can arrange the rental of you gear snowboard, bindings, boots, and helmet in option.<\/p>\n

At 1800-2000m high, the weather can really affect the temperature. In March you can have all kind of weather from Summer\/Spring to cold winter, it is unpredictable.

The camp takes place in Switzerland. The local currency is the Swiss Franc<\/strong>. Most places accept payment by bank card, and there is also a bank in the village if you need.<\/p>\n

For intermediate camp, as the ski domain is across two countries<\/strong>, France and Switzerland, you might use two currencies during the week, Swiss Francs and Euros<\/strong>. It\u2019s best to have a bit of cash with you. However, Swiss Francs and Euros are widely accepted, so you shouldn\u2019t need cash in both currencies.<\/p>\n

A simple one-dish meal<\/strong> at a restaurant usually costs between 22 and 36 CHF.<\/strong> If you’re grabbing a drink, a 33cl beer<\/strong> will cost around 6 CHF<\/strong> in a bar or restaurant.<\/p>\n

Of course, prices can vary depending on the place \u2014 mountain huts might be a little more expensive, while local takeaways or supermarkets can be cheaper.<\/p>\n

If you’re coming from European counrties: good news \u2014 the small, two-pin plugs (type C) will work just fine. However, the larger plugs with the grounding pin (type E) will not fit in Swiss sockets, then you’ll need an adapter.<\/p>\n

If you’re coming from other countries (like the UK, Australia or the US), you\u2019ll definitely need a travel adapter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
